Join us in the festivities as we celebrate the season and the relaunch of our print collective!
We’ll have fancy punch and goodies, and stamps, stencils, and drawing materials for pattern-making and embellishing. Bring your own blank wrapping papers, cards, envelopes, and, gift tags, or just come see the shop and hang out!
Information on membership and workshops in the months to come will be available at the party.
Join Leslie Smith and Lexi Janezic Sat. Nov. 15 (10-4, with a lunch break) for an activist poster-printing workshop in conjunction with PS1’s November exhibition Posters from the Heart. We’ll look at political posters over time and examine the printing techniques and designs from the past to create our own posters. Influences we will be pulling from are Taller Gráfica Popular, Situationist International, and United Farm Workers–movements which heavily relied on do-it-yourself poster campaigns. We will use wood type, pochoir stenciling, carved linoleum blocks, and a few other fairly low-tech print processes.
Pay-what-you-can; all materials provided. All experiences of printmaking and activism welcome!

Please take this short (5 question!) survey to help us decide how to structure our open hours and future print media offerings. Thank you!
We are reorganizing (physical and conceptually) the print shop and planning for the future and (therefore) this is a great time to get involved with Zenzic Press. If you’re interested, email us at email@example.com
We’ll be doing an interactive printing demo this Saturday Oct. 4 from 10-3 at the Iowa City Book Festival Book Fair on the Ped Mall. Come say hi!
